Well, here we are at the end of our first year of knitting socks together! Time flys when you're having fun knitting! July brings us back to an old favorite, Cascade Fixation. Not only is this a great sock yarn, but a great sock yarn for summer. Rob's Broadripple pattern lends itself well to this yarn. As always, a fun project to take with you on your summer travels. Happy Knitting!

Once again we bring you a monthly selection knit with Pagewood sock yarn. Hand knit lacey anklets with a scalloped edge , show off the muted lavender and earth colors called River Rock. The pattern on the cuff is simple yet fancy and hides the 1x1 ribbed cuff underneath. The ribbing holds the cuff against the ankle without letting it sag. Finished off with a daintly crocheted scalloped edge. Whether you knit this sock over the summer or save it for a quick fall project, I'm sure you'll use this pattern over again.

The May, Jump and Jive Sock of the Month, is a great break from working on something that takes a lot of concentration. The cuff pattern is a very basic design and could be used for any number of knitted items, not just socks. These socks are knit from Plymouth Yarn's Happy Feet. Happy Feet is a new addition to our sock yarn collection. Take it to the park, in the car, or just sit on the porch. Relax and enjoy the nice weather!

Dearest Sock Knitters, the February sock is here! This month brings you a sweet pink sock with a basic cable up both sides. The yarn this month is the ever popular Pagewood, in the colorway, Cotton Candy. This is a simple little sock and it knits up to be very delicate. If you aren't a pink person, then I hope you know someone that is. Then you can knit these socks for them. What a sweet little gift they would be.

Happy New Year!!! January's sock has arrived! To start the new year off, we have a monochromatic beauty, superwash wool and bamboo, done in a broken rib pattern. The yarn this month is Schoeller & Stahl, Fortissima Socka, Mitt Bamboo, in granit colorway. This yarn is 60% superwash wool, 25% bamboo, and 15% polyamid. It has a great feel and durability to it. The colorway is reminiscent of our snowy winter days. And Cruella DeVil would be quite at home with these warm socks on her wicked little feet!
